Description
Using the TIBCO Scribe® Online Connector For ODBC to connect to a DB2 table on an AS/400, the Scribe® Online connection tests successfully and loads metadata, but running a Solution results in the error below:
TIBCO Scribe® Online connection
Error Number:2 ERROR [HY000] [TIBCO][ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol driver][UDB DB2 for iSeries and AS/400] Column qualifier or table "SLSMAN" undefined. "SLSPER"
- The ODBC datasource is configured to use the Progress DataDirect DB2 Wire Protocol Driver.
- The user configured in the Scribe® Online connection has the required permissions in the DB2 database.
- The Scribe® Online connection parameter “Select Tables for Schema” is set to the valid Collection in the DB2 database.
TIBCO Scribe® Online connection
Issue/Introduction
The “Column qualifier or table "XXX" undefined” error can occur when the Collection name is entered in the TIBCO connection “Select Tables for Schema” parameter, but there is an error in the Collection name in the ODBC datasource.
Resolution
The DB2 database Collection name was set properly in the Scribe® Online connection, but it was entered incorrectly in the ODBC datasource. This error was resolved by updating the value in the "Collection" parameter on the General tab of the ODBC DB2 datasource.
