When scheduling a Scan and/or Copy job on a Windows PC, one my get the following error window pop-up:

One may receive an error message when scheduling a Scan and/or Copy job

This will happen if the Security Option " Network Access: Do not allow storage of password and credentials for network authentication" is set to “ Enabled” If this is the case, to resolve this issue do the following:
Go to: Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Local Security Policy
In the Local Security Policy window, go to: Local Policies --> Security Options
Under the "Policy" column (right side) check to see what the "Network Access: Do not allow storage of password and credentials for network authentication" policy is set to. It should be set to "Disabled"
If you do need to change it to Disabled, you must check with your system administrator before making any changes. You will need to reboot your machine after making the change.
