Description
In order to preserve the referential integrity of tagging in XML Canon, we retain the deleted assets in the database until they are purged. So, if your server administrator has not performed recent purge of the server, your performance slowdown is likely to be caused by the holdup of large number of such assets.
Issue/Introduction
This article discusses performance degradation in TIBCO XML Canon 3.1 server and its possible causes.
Resolution
If the deleted assets amount to a large number, which is most likely, then you need to purge the deleted assets manually from the database side. Ask TIBCO Support for a SQL script to perform a manual purge.
