Description
Unable to connect only SQL Server Database (Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2) - 10.50.4000.0 (X64))
with this error message:
Unable to connect to data source "/shared/Projects/myWork/DataSources/TeamSpace_DEV" at
"USCTAPD00366\DEV01:55707@WSS_Logging_PRD_WS2_FULL" with the supplied connection information.

Unable to connect to data source "/shared/Projects/myWork/DataSources/TeamSpace_DEV" at
"jdbc:sqlserver://USCTAPD00366\DEV01:55707;databaseName=WSS_Logging_PRD_WS2_FULL;selectMethod=direct".
Make sure the URL information, user name and password are correct. [datasrc-3961025]
Cause: The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: "Server key".

Issue/Introduction
SQL server connectivity issue from composite
Resolution
Microsoft released a patch for connectivity issues. Installing latest version of “KB2992611” and “KB3018238” on the windows resolves the server connectivity issue. The link to this later patch: https://support2.microsoft.com/kb/2992611
