Salesforce begins disabling TLS 1.0 on July 22, 2017.
Beginning July 22, 2017, Salesforce will begin disabling the TLS 1.0 encryption protocol in a phased approach across impacted Salesforce services. Please refer to the following Salesforce knowledge articles for details and schedule:
TIBCO Scribe Insight version 7.9.2 with the Adapter for Salesforce 2.8.1 or 2.8.2 supports TLS 1.1 and 1.2, and will be required to connect to Salesforce once TLS 1.0 is disabled. If you are using an earlier version of TIBCO Scribe Insight, you will need to upgrade to 7.9.5 with the Adapter for Salesforce 2.8.3 to successfully connect to Salesforce.
Please ensure TIBCO Scribe Insight maintenance is current prior to upgrading. To successfully register your upgraded TIBCO Scribe Insight server, the license must be current on a maintenance plan. Contact your Scribe sales representative to purchase or confirm maintenance is current.
While we do not expect any problems upgrading to Insight 7.9.5, the best practice is to back up your TIBCO Scribe Insight server and database before doing an upgrade, to upgrade in a test environment first, and to test your integrations after upgrades.
If TIBCO Scribe Insight is not upgraded prior to TLS 1.0 being disabled in your Salesforce organization, you may see the following error message:
login Failed
UNSUPPORTED_CLIENT
UNSUPPORTED_CLIENT: TLS 1.0 has been disabled in this organization. Please use TLS 1.1 or higher when connecting to Salesforce using https.
