Description


If you are having difficulty seeing or writing to an entity in Salesforce, you can look up the permissions for the user configured in the TIBCO Scribe® Salesforce Connection. Your account may need special access rights to get to the permissions page. You may need to speak with your Salesforce Administrator to view or modify permissions.

To view/modify user permissions:

  1. Log into Salesforce and at the top right corner of the page select Setup. Depending on your Salesforce configuration, Setup may be in the drop-down under your name.
  2. Use the Quick Find/ Search in the sidebar to locate Users.

  1. The users that have been created in your Salesforce Organization display. In Salesforce your user is assigned a role which is listed in the Profile column.

Select the Profile for the user configured in your TIBCO Scribe® Salesforce Connection to show the various access permissions for that User. The Profile shows whether or not the user has API access to the Salesforce Organization. Below is a screenshot of what you may want to look for in this section. It may not look like the same as the screenshot but will have the same title "Standard Object Permissions"

Make sure that the User Profile has rights to the objects in your organization required perform the operations configured for your TIBCO Scribe® integrations.
