This article has sample stylesheet to modify a response sent back to the client from APIX.

Resolution

This sample 'DeprecatedWarning2.xsl' copies southbound response(from Target) as-is and modifies the status-code of the reply.
Note: <payload-text> tag can be used for non-xml payloads, only for response transform.
