Note: This article refers to TIBCO Scribe® as a stand-alone product, not when using TIBCO Scribe® Online as part of TIBCO Cloud ™ Integration. See TIBCO Scribe® Online And TIBCO Cloud ™ Integration for more information.

A new user is invited to a TIBCO Scribe® Online Organization.  After receiving and accepting the invitation, the user accesses the Organization but cannot create a new Solution or edit any existing Solutions.  This user has an Admin Role which grants access to those functions.  The user has access to view the Organization but does not have ability to edit anything.

Issue/Introduction

Use this article if you have a new user who cannot access or create new Scribe Online Solutions.

Resolution

  1. Select More > User Management in TIBCO Scribe® Online.
  2. Select Delete from the Gear menu for the user.
  3. Send the same user a new invitation.
The user should now have the appropriate permissions.  If the problem persists, contact TIBCO Scribe® Support.
