One should make sure that the group you are part of has access to the “Author Scripts” license. You may follow the steps below to confirm this.
- Log on to Spotfire Client as an administrator.
- Click on Tools -> Administration Manager
- Click on Groups and Licenses
- Click on the group that the user id is part of and on the right pane, click on Licenses
- Expand the TIBCO Spotfire Extensions and check if 'Author Scripts' has a green tick mark on it. If not, click on edit and enable 'Author Scripts' license
- Click on OK and Close.
Close the Spotfire client session and login again and you will be able to see the "Scripts" option.
