Here is general outline of SDS flow:

- Create/push new decision service instance and scale it to live environment.
- Open WebStudio and checkout the sample SDS project .
- By default no services are present in the project. So, we need to create a new SDS with input and output fields and create implementation which is the DecisionTable.
- Save, COMMIT and Approve the DT change.
- At this stage attempt "Generate Deployable" for the project.
- After generate deployable is successful you can hot deploy changes to the DT.

The hot deployment is only for the changes made to the decision table and not for the SDS service itself, the generate deployable is critical step that is needed for normal functioning of the SDS .
