It is not possible to use global groups in message routing rules. Global groups may contain devices from remote LogLogic LMI appliances because global groups can only be created on LMI appliances that are designated as management stations. Therefore, those device logs would not be present anyway on the local appliance for forwarding by the message routing rule.

This article explains why specifying global device groups is not allowed when configuring message routing rules in LogLogic LMI.
