Description

The list-active-service-configs command can generate different output results depending on how many and what kind of services (Web Player/Automation) have been setup in the Spotfire Environment.

Issue/Introduction

This article talks about the list-active-service-configs and the different kind of outputs it can generate depending on the Web Player/Automation service configurations.

Resolution

# No Configuration listed
When the Web Player/Automation service is using the "Default Configuration" the list-active-service-configs command will not list the configuration in use. In this scenario, it is safe to assume that the default configuration is in use.

# Same Configuration listed multiple times
If the same custom configuration is in use across multiple Web Player/Automation services then the list-active-service-configs will repeat the output for each service even if the same configuration is in use ,as the service id's are distinct.
