After installing Statistica, either just the license service component, or the license service with additional components, only a temporary 14 day license file is created.  To register for the license file, follow the steps below.  

This article goes through the steps to register for a Statistica network license. Network referred to any concurrent, enterprise, or server-type install).

Windows operating systems only. For Statistica 13.0 and above, Windows Server 2008 R2 and above required.

1.  Open the Concurrent License Manager (Start | Statistica <version #> | Concurrent License Manager)

2.  Click the "Register" button:



3.  Choose "Automatic" on the Statistica License Registration dialog, then click the "OK" button:



4.  Locate the StatSoftRegistration.txt file (typical location is <server drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Statistica\FLEXlm\ (version prior to 13.3 will have another installation directory but searching for the FLEXlm folder or the StatSoftRegistration.txt will find the file):



5.  If successful, automatic registration will complete and a message like the following will show:



6.  The expiration date on the order will show in the Concurrent License Manager (see Step 2, above, and check the "Licensed Until" section for the expiration date).
