I am about to move our enterprise databases (the metadata database repository) to another type of database. Will it work with OLE-DB or other database types?

This article discusses the requirement for Statistica Server. Statistica Server metadata database repository can only be used with an ODBC-compliant database.
Environment
Statistica Sever installs on Windows Operating Systems only, Windows Server 2008 R2 and above.
Resolution
No, the enterprise metadata database repository can only be communicated with OBDC (Open Database Connectivity) application drivers.
