Description
Licenses need to be management so that a certain number of licenses can be available per user group.

License access management using the FLEXlm Options file
Environment
Windows operating system only. Concurrent and Enterprise installation types only.
Resolution
The FLEXlm User's Guide has steps to create an Options file which will restrict licenses to specific groups. The Options file is a text file. See the user guide in the FLEXlm folder, typical location is either:
<local drive>:\Program Files (x86)\StatSoft\FLEXlm\ or <local drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\FLEXlm\ or <local drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Statistica\FLEXlm\
General steps are:
1. Create the Options file in notepad:
2. Save the file in the FLEXlm folder and name it sta_flexlm.opt:
3. Add options line in license file, below the VENDOR line, and Save the license file:
4. Restart the Statistica License Manager service
5. Groups should now be restricted:
