Description
This error message is a fairly straightforward identification of the issue. Essentially the Source Query in the DTS Configure Source window is too long. To reduce the length of the query, try creating some Views in SQL and referencing the Views in the query. You may also want to try using a stored procedure to identify the required dataset.
