On July 31, 2023, TIBCO is officially ending support for version 10.10 LTS and 11.8 of the TIBCO Spotfire product family. This includes the following products:
  • TIBCO Spotfire Analyst
  • TIBCO Spotfire Automation Services
  • TIBCO Spotfire Business Author
  • TIBCO Spotfire Consumer
  • TIBCO Spotfire Desktop
  • TIBCO Spotfire Developer
  • TIBCO Spotfire Qualification
  • TIBCO Spotfire Server
  • TIBCO Spotfire Statistics Services

The purpose of this notification is to officially communicate this retirement and request that you migrate, as soon as possible, to a supported release of the product.  

Check the TIBCO Product Download Site (https://edelivery.tibco.com) for the most recent release when planning your upgrade. As part of your upgrade planning, please make sure to determine what type of release - Long Term Support (LTS) or Mainstream (non-LTS) - best suits your needs. Until the retirement date, Support will answer product questions, however product updates will not be provided.  After the retirement date has been reached, new cases reported against the retired release(s) will no longer be accepted and existing cases under investigation will be closed.

Available hotfixes and knowledge base articles will continue to be available to all customers with product maintenance beyond the retirement date.

To ensure that you receive future retirement notices, make sure to subscribe to them in the TIBCO Support Portal in the following way:
1. Login to the TIBCO Support Portal (https://support.tibco.com)
2. In the upper right corner, under the menu item with your name, select "Product Interests and Knowledge Base Subscriptions"
3. Click “Manage Products” and select the TIBCO products of interest to you
4. Select the types of notifications you want to receive.
5. Click “Save Interests” at the bottom of the page.

Issue/Introduction

On July 31, 2023, TIBCO is officially ending support for version 10.10 LTS and 11.8 of the TIBCO Spotfire product family. During the next 12 months, Support will answer product questions, but no new defect corrections, in the form of hotfixes or service packs, will be provided for these versions. The latest LTS versions - 11.4 and 12.0 - are not affected by this announcement.
