Retirement Notice Revised - Dec 12, 2023: The Hotfix eligibility criteria for 8.5 has been updated. 

On November 30, 2024, TIBCO is officially ending support for version 8.5 family of TIBCO Data Virtualization. This includes the following products:

• TIBCO Data Virtualization
• TIBCO Spotfire Advanced Data Services
• TIBCO Jaspersoft Advanced Data Services

The purpose of this notification is to officially communicate this policy and request that you migrate, as soon as possible, to a supported release of the product. Check the TIBCO Product Download Site (https://edelivery.tibco.com) for the most recent release when planning your upgrade.

As part of your upgrade planning, please make sure to determine what type of release - Long Term Support (LTS) or Mainstream (non-LTS) - best suits your needs. Until the retirement date, Support will answer product questions and any defect corrections, in the form of hotfixes or service packs, may be provided at TIBCO discretion.  After the retirement date has been reached, new cases reported against the retired release(s) will no longer be accepted and existing cases under investigation will be closed.

Available hotfixes and knowledge base articles will continue to be available to all customers with product maintenance beyond the retirement date.

To ensure that you receive future retirement notices, make sure to subscribe to them in the TIBCO Support Portal in the following way:
1. Login to the TIBCO Support Portal (https://support.tibco.com)
2. In the upper right corner, under the menu item with your name, select "Product Interests and Knowledge Base Subscriptions"
3. Click "Manage Products" and select the TIBCO products of interest to you
4. Select the types of notifications you want to receive.
5. Click "Save Interests" at the bottom of the page.
