On April 21, 2024, TIBCO is officially ending support for version 8.6 family of TIBCO Data Virtualization. This includes the following products:
Check the TIBCO Product Download Site (https://edelivery.tibco.com) for the most recent release when planning your upgrade. As part of your upgrade planning, please make sure to determine what type of release - Long Term Support (LTS) or Mainstream (non-LTS) - best suits your needs. Please refer to the following page for more information about this: https://docs.tibco.com/pub/tdv/general/LTS/tdv_LTS_releases.htm
Until the retirement date, Support will answer product questions, however product updates will not be provided. After the retirement date has been reached, new cases reported against the retired release(s) will no longer be accepted and existing cases under investigation will be closed.
Available hotfixes and knowledge base articles will continue to be available to all customers with product maintenance beyond the retirement date.
To ensure that you receive future retirement notices, make sure to subscribe to them in the TIBCO Support Portal in the following way:
1. Login to the TIBCO Support Portal (https://support.tibco.com)
2. In the upper right corner, under the menu item with your name, select "Product Interests and Knowledge Base Subscriptions"
3. Click "Manage Products" and select the TIBCO products of interest to you
4. Select the types of notifications you want to receive.
5. Click "Save Interests" at the bottom of the page.
For inquiries regarding purchasing Extended Support for the release(s) being retired, please contact your TIBCO Account Representative or TIBCO Renewals (renewals@tibco.com).

Issue/Introduction
On April 21, 2024, TIBCO is officially ending support for version 8.6 family of TIBCO Data Virtualization. During the next 12 months, Support will answer product questions, but no new defect corrections, in the form of hotfixes or service packs, will be provided for these versions. The latest LTS version 8.5.x is not affected by this announcement.
