Description
TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) supports fault tolerance (FT) in both shared and unshared modes.

Resolution
EMS FT in shared mode is supported with AMX BPM. Unshared mode EMS FT is not supported due to the following -
1. During an unshared failover, it is required the client catches the error and then re-send the affected message. This can potentially cause duplicate messages and even out of order messages. AMX BPM is not equipped to handle re-order messages.
2. These features and Java classes are not supported with unshared state connections:
• XA transactions
• Durable topic subscribers
• ConnectionConsumer
• ServerSession
• ServerSessionPool
• QueueRequestor
• TopicRequestor
