PLEASE NOTE:
THIS RELEASE OF BWPM SERVER REQUIRES APACHE TOMCAT 9.0.x RUNNING
WITH ORACLE JAVA 8 OR OPENJDK 10, 11!
IN CASE YOU ARE RUNNING BWPM SERVER ON A PRIOR VERSION OF APACHE
TOMCAT OR JAVA, PLEASE UPDATE TOMCAT AND JAVA BEFORE YOU ARE
UPDATING TO THIS RELEASE OF BWPM SERVER!
IT IS RECOMMENDED TO RUN APACHE TOMCAT 9.0.x WITH OPENJDK 11.

1. Make sure that bwpm applications are stopped on all nodes running on Apache tomcat (or stop tomcat server if it is dedicated to bwpm only)
2. Deploy bwpm.war on your Apache Tomcat Server. For further information consult the installation manual "Installing TIBCO BWPM Server.pdf"
3. Your browser might have cached an older version of bwpm. Please make sure to delete your browser cache and reload your login page in your browser.
Firefox 75: press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and confirm the dialog that appears.
Internet Explorer 11: Click on Tools -> Developer Tools. In the window that opens click Cache -> Clear browser cache. Confirm the dialog.
4. Start bwpm application on one node and go to your browser to login. Now you should see the new version on the lower left corner of the GUI.
Login as administrator. The web page will prompt you that the database layout needs an upgrade. Click "Download" to download an SQL file
that a DBA can execute against the database to perform the upgrade. Click "Migrate" to let the server perform the DB upgrade. Please consider, the migration task may take some time!
If you are going to migrate from any version prior 3.0 you need to execute the post-migration script in order to continue to have the historic track information.
You will be prompted for a DB account that can execute the required changes. Ask your DBA, if you are not sure which DB account to use.
The data migration task has to be executed only once.
5. When database migration was executed manually by starting the SQL script and the data migration task is finished, stop and restart application bwpm
in Apache Tomcat on all nodes.

Once logged on you can find the hotfix under:
Customer Console-->Home -->Right hand Top Corner --> Download Menu -->Hotfixes.
