The server memory/disk growth that occurred prior to applying the HF will not be cleared up after the HF is applied. Rather, the HF will prevent any further unbounded growth.

There is no need to delete the data directories if the deployment has not encountered the server memory/growth issue. For deployments that are already experiencing this issue, the data directories should be deleted before applying the HF in order to reset the server memory/disk growth.

Revised LBN:

TIBCO Enterprise Message Service has released EMS 10.2.1-HF03.

This hotfix addresses the following issue: When configured with FTL stores, the server's memory and disk usage would grow without bound in proportion to the number of connections, sessions, consumers, and producers being created and destroyed.

If you are using or planning to use the FTL store feature of EMS, please make sure to use version 10.2.1 of EMS and to apply EMS 10.2.1-HF03.
