Description

Hotfix TIB_mftps-win_7.2.0_HF-008 can be downloaded from TIBCO Support Portal (https://support.tibco.com).  
 
You will need to provide your TIBCO Support Portal credentials.  Once logged in you can download the hotfix by selecting the “Downloads” -> “Hotfixes” option. Then go to “/AvailableDownloads/MFT/ PlatformServer/Windows/7.2.0/hotfix-08” to download the hotfix.
 
The .zip file has the Readme file inside. Please unzip the file and review the Readme file for instructions on how to apply the hotfix.
 
Introduction
 
Hotfixes are cumulative. This is the eighth hotfix for TIBCO Managed File
Transfer Platform Server for Windows 7.2.0.

Closed Issues in 7.2.0_HF-008 (This Release)
 
The following issues are closed in this release:
 
PSW-632             
Due to a memory leak on failed directory list requests, the Platform Server
Service crashed and no longer accepted incoming connections.
 
PSW-631             
When an email notification was requested and the SMTP Server responded with a
long error message, a mini-dump was created and an audit record was not written.
 
PSW-630             
When transfers were initiated through Command Center and the transfer user did
not have access to the Platform Server Registry, transfers failed and a
mini-dump was created.
 
PSW-627             
When a DNI receive was initiated from Internet Server, the same file was
transferred multiple times.
 
PSW-595             
After upgrading to PSW 7.2, the command "del /Q /F c:\\temp\\file.txt" failed
with the error: "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is
incorrect."

The MFT Platform Server service hung after receiving many Command Center requests.

When a Send command request was received and it failed, the command file was

When a file transfer did not complete within the dispatch interval, the
following message was displayed: "File (file name) is waiting to be dispatched
in the Queue. Rejected by Throttle."
