Description

If cfprofile.cfg or cfrprofile.cfg is moved from MFT PSW 8.0 HF-001 to MFT PSW 8.0 base or MFT PSW 7.2, a password mismatch error would be encountered.

Issue/Introduction

The password encryption method was enhanced in MFT PSW 8.0.0_HF-001, so profiles created after installing PSW hotfix 8.0.0_HF-001 will not work on PSW that are on 8.0.0 base or 7.2.0.

The password encryption method was enhanced in MFT PSW 8.0.0_HF-001.  Profiles and Responder profiles created on MFT PSW 8.0.0_HF-001 or higher will not work on MFT PSW 8.0.0 base or MFT PSW 7.2.0.  Passwords created on MFT PSW 8.0.0_HF-001 can be identified because they are prefixed by "$PWD:". For example:
