TIBCO Scribe® Online plans to release an update to the Connector for MySQL Server with the following enhancements and addressed issues:
- Connector now supports MySQL instances hosted on the following cloud sites: (45604)
- Amazon RDS
- Amazon Aurora (SCMySQL-7, 45604
- Google Cloud IPv6 configurations (SCMySQL-20, 30487)
- Added support for Batch Processing for Create and Delete operations. (45599, SCMYSQL-8, SCMYSQL-9)
- Added support for the ENUM data type (SCMYSQL-6, 28160 / Case # 86356)
- Added support for Additional Parameters in the Connection dialog. (SCMySQL-44)
- Added support for SSL Connections. (SCMYSQL-55)
- Increased Connection timeouts and added commands to MySQL to make sure net-read and net_write settings are high enough to address errors similar to the following: Fatal error encountered during data read. Reading from the stream has failed. (SCMYSQL-48, D35300, 35301 / Case # 51428, 88501)
- Increased timeouts on initial Query to allow the Connector to get the entire database schema. (SCMYSQL-18, D44630, 46194 / Case # 57691)
- Correctly handle datetimes that default to 0000-00-00 when a record has been created, but the datetimes are not populated. (SCMYSQL-2, SCMYSQL-4, 8695, 28237 / Case # 75783, 86180)
- Correctly handle TinyInt(1) data types. (SCMYSQL-1, D40462 / Case # 56563)
