- The hotfix is available for download from the TIBCO Support Portal - https://support.tibco.com.
- Once logged in using your TIBCO Account, you can access hotfixes under the Download menu > Hotfixes > AvailableDownloads > Spotfire
- Note that all Spotfire hotfixes are cumulative, so this hotfix also contains the fixes from all previous TIBCO Spotfire 7.8.x hotfixes.

Listed below is a summary of the issue(s) that have been addressed in this release:
- TS-48548 - Box plot highlight rendering could sometimes cause a crash
- TS-48454 - Not possible to open an analysis which uses a culture which is not available on the current system.
- TS-48450 - Cannot open Excel file with external (and/or broken) worksheets.
- TS-48595 - Crash in Column Properties dialog when renaming column in a data table, if another data table with a Pivot transformation used the first table as input with Automatic update
- TSWP-11352 - Exporting to PDF with specific settings could result in that the analysis could not be opened.
- TSDC-3697 - After upgrade from 6.5 an analysis can't connect to the Oracle database
- TSWP-11384 - Error when zooming in maps: Out of Memory. The task could not be completed. Unhandled worker thread exception and crash.
