Description
The TIBCO iProcess Workspace (Windows) 11.6.0 staffw.exe process can exit abnormally performing various tasks. The following is reported in the system Application Error (the version and time stamp may vary):

Checking the staffpms file line 18 is set to “1” which means UTF-8 is enabled.

Resolution
Download and install TIBCO iProcess Workspace (Windows) hotfix HF001. Details of the hotfix can be found in Release Article 000031516. The hotfix can be downloaded from the TIBCO Support Customer Portal Web UI using your username and password for the TIBCO Support Web. Once logged on the hotfix can be found under the Downloads Menu:
