Description

XrmToolBox is a free Windows application that can connect to the Common Data Service for Apps (CDS) such as Dynamics 365.
Download XRM Toolbox    https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/
Unzip the file to a location of your choice.
Run the XrmToolBox.exe application – Select Tools tab and click on FetchXML Builder
This should prompt you to login/connect to your CRM organization
If the login is successful you should see the FectXML Builder UI
Optional - Click New and retrieve records from the Account entity

Connecting to an organization secured with Multi Factor Authentication
If MFA has been enabled on the user you are connecting with, you need to use the Application Password rather than the users normal CRM password.
The first time an MFA user logins into CRM they will receive an App Password.
There is no way to see the existing value – if it’s unknown a new one needs to be created via:

CRM Portal (https://portal.office.com/account/), My Account, Security & Privacy, Additional security verification, Create and manage app passwords
