Description
TIBCO Scribe® Insight and Dynamics CRM (On-premise)
Error: The authentication endpoint Username was not found on the configured Secure Token Service!

Cause: The endpoint was not enabled on the Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) server.
Issue/Introduction
When connecting to Dynamics CRM On-Premise via the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Workbench, an "Authentication endpoint Username not found" error may occur.
Resolution
Resolution:
- Open the Dynamics CRM Deployment Manager.
- Right-click Microsoft Dynamics CRM > Properties > Web Address.
- Copy the URL and paste it in the TIBCO Scribe® Insight Workbench Connection Window.
- Verify the user the customer is trying to connect with has been added to the Deployment Administrators.
- Log into Dynamics CRM and verify the Org name.
- Copy and paste the Org name into TIBCO Scribe® Insight Workbench. This value is case sensitive.
- Change the deployment type to On-Premise.
- For the username, enter in the domain name\username.
- Verify your firewall does not block the URL.
Ensure the steps above have been carried out and have your IT Team Enable the Endpoint on the ADFS Server.
