The font size on graphs saved as either file type JPG or PNG are appearing too small
Issue/Introduction
The fonts on graphs saved as JPG or PNG are small
Resolution
The following options can help resolve this issue:
1. Troubleshooting option 1:
- Go to the File Menu in Statistica, choose Options, and then expand Documents
- In Documents, expand Graphs and select Rendering
- Un-Check the box for "Create Clipboard/Report/Metafile images at a printer resolution”
- Produce a graph with this option turned off, and also turned on, and then explore the differences in the output graph.
- Experiment with the option “Use hardware graphics acceleration (Direct2D) when supported” - first, produce a graph with this option checked. If this does not improve the quality of the font in the saved files, deselect this option and save the file again and check the font size.
2. Troubleshooting option 2:
- A second option is to explore is the font sizing in the Graph Options Window. To do this, create a graph, then double click on the graph to open the Graph Options Window.
- In here, select Window under Graph and adjust 'Scaling of fonts/markers'. You could try starting at 200%, produce a graph and investigate the font sizing. If the size is too small or too big, edit the 'Scaling of fonts/markers' again to a different percentage until you are satisfied with the output display on the graph.
