Using the SDK, you have all the functionality available that TIBCO Rendezvous offers. In addition, the SDK offers a number of useful features including configuration and metadata (schema) management, a simplified way of creating TIB/Hawk implants, and easy-to-use traces. More importantly, the SDK is easy to learn and to use and will make your bespoke adapter compatible with other SDK-based and TIBCO ActiveEnterprise applications.
If you are an experienced TIBCO Rendezvous programmer, you may be able to integrate your application using the TIBCO Rendezvous interface. To achieve the infrastructure shared by all SDK-based bespoke adapters, you would, however, have to implement a substantial amount of additional functionality.
