Resolution:
For LiveWeb 1.0.1, the document states that the default value for the Java option ss.web.url is "/tibco/rtserver".
In fact, the default is "/talarian/rtserver". To fix this problem, add a new "map" command into the LiveWeb's rtweb.cm file that lists /talarian/rtserver.
