Description
Resolution:
In the log, you will see:
"The Broker servlet has been modified, shutting down and restarting..."
or
"The servlet Broker has been destroyed"
In almost all circumstances, this is due to Resin getting an OutOfMemoryError. When it does, it detroys all servlets and attempts to restart.
Increase the JVM heap size if this is a recurring problem.
Note: Resin will also restart if the resin.conf or web.xml files are modified, or if any jars are added, removed, or changed in the WEB-INF/lib directory.
