Resolution:
There is a known issue in GridServer 3.2.0 when upgrading from a 3.1.x installation to an installation configure to use an alternate base directory that will produce a FileNotFoundException during the final stages of the installation.

This issue has been fixed for Service Pack 1 (i.e., GridServer 3.2.1), but you can also use the following as a workaround: Before beginning the upgrade procedure, copy the file WEB-INF/config/tables.sql.updates.default from the livecluster/ directory of your un-tarred 3.2.0 installation directory to the WEB-INF/config directory of the alternate base directory you plan to use (you will have to create the WEB-INF and WEB-INF/config directories in that tree if they are not already present). You can then proceed with the upgrade process as specified in the GridServer Installation Guide.
