Symptoms

The TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.1.2 installer does not update the existing TIBCO Rendezvous 7.2 installation.

Impact

Loss of Functionality

Workaround
==========
When Installing TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.1.2, choose a "custom" installation.  Then choose to "reinstall" TIBCO Rendezvous 7.2.

Cause
=====
The installer thought the system already has the most current release of TIBCO Rendezvous 7.2 so does not update it with the later version bundled within TRA.

Resolution
==========
When Installing TIBCO Runtime Agent 5.1.2, choose a "custom" installation.  Then choose to "reinstall" TIBCO Rendezvous 7.2. You don't have to do this if you already have applied the most current patches of RV 7.2.
