Description

========

When configuring two RVRDs in redundant mode by specifying a receive address and send address in the "Network Specification" of the "Local Network" (e.g., 239.192.0.7;239.192.0.6 ), and sending a message from a third machine on the same subnet, duplicate messages are seen on the receiving end.

Resolution

========

This is expected behavior as both of the RVRDs can receive only on 239.192.0.7 and send on 239.192.0.6, so they will not be able to talk to each other and are identified as redundant partners. The solution for this problem is to configure the "Network Specification" entries in "Local Network" to include the send address on the receive address part (for e.g., 239.192.0.7,239.192.0.6;239.192.0.6).
