Description

Resolution:
When installing the GridServer Manager on a Unix system, the installer may not display the fully qualified hostname as the Manager name. It may determine that the machine hostname is the full name, which may cause routing problems after installation.

If this is the case, the hostname of the machine can be changed after installation by selecting the Manager Reconfigure page on the Admin tab in the GridServer Administration Tool and selecting Manager Configuration. On Step 2, change the hostname to whatever DNS-resolvable domain name you need to specify to allow other components to communicate with GridServer.
