Description

Resolution:
XML Canon can be your repository for BW project assets or any other project assets. The simplest way to copy these assets from one XML Canon server (e.g., development/testing instance) to another (e.g., production
instance) is to create two windows web folders, one per server instance, then transfer the assets by dragging them from one server instance to the other.

To create a windows web folder using Internet Explorer, follow these
steps:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Select Open from the File menu or hit Control + O.
Enter the XML Canon server location and port number, check the Open Web Folder box, and click OK (or hit the return button).
3. In the Enter Network Password screen, enter your user name and password for connecting to XML Canon server.
4. After authentication succeeds, the new folder should reflect the contents of your XML Canon server.

To copy folders (or individual files) from one XML Canon server to another XML Canon server, follow these steps:

1. Create a windows web folder for the first XML Canon server.
2. Create another windows web folder for the second XML Canon server.
3. Drag assets from one XML Canon server and drop the assets in the other XML Canon server, or use other file operations (copy, cut and paste).
