Symptoms

When a query with binds is used in the custom query operation of Teradata Palette, the pallete throws error:
AEADTERA-840025 Error is due to [String index out of range: -1].
Impact

Loss of Functionality
The custom query operation of adapter cannot be configured with binds in the sql statement
Workaround

This is addressed in 5.2.0 release of the adapter.
