Resolution:
If you have access to the desktop of the XML Canon server and it is running on Windows, then start a web browser instance and login to the XML Canon server using 'Administrator' account, then right-click on the XML Canon service icon and select 'Register' to launch the registration screen.
Once the registration is completed, the XML Canon 'Policies' -> 'Install' page should reflect the new registration info. Two things to keep in mind:
(1) the registration code and company name are both case-sensitive; and
(2) once the new registration is complete, you will be denied access to the server unless you re-login.

Alternatively, start a web browser instance and login to XML Canon as 'Administrator', then perform the http request http://canonServerName:portNum/xc/rqst/registration.html to access the registration screen and proceed as described above.
