Resolution:
The WebLogic Administrative Console allows users to start and stop selected web application modules without restarting WebLogic. By default, GridServer's shutdown procedure will cause the WebLogic application server to exit, which may not be desired.
To change this behavior, edit the installation.properties file in the livecluster/WEB-INF/config directory of your GridServer deployment. Look for a property named DSExitOnShutdown near the end of the file. Change the value of this property to false to prevent GridServer from causing the application server to exit during shutdown.
