Description: TIBCO Adapter for Remedy v5.1.0 now supports TRA 5.2.0 and TRA 5.2.1 and TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.2.0 and 5.2.1, in addition to the currently supported TRA and BW versions as listed in the product documentation. The only TRA and BusinessWorks features supported by the adapter are those included in the documentation for TIBCO Adapter for Remedy v5.1.0
No adapter configuration changes are required to use TRA 5.2.0 and TRA 5.2.1 and BusinessWorks 5.2.0 and 5.2.1 with version 5.1.0 of the Remedy adapter.
Known Issue with TRA 5.2.1:
If adapter is used on Windows XP with Service Patch 2, Adapter crashes when stopped from ADMIN 5.2.0 and throws following error: "adremedy.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close ................... "
Solution:
Upgrade to TRA 5.2.1 Hotfix1 and follow the below steps as a workaround
- Take a backup of existing adremedy.exe file in the location <adapter home>/5.1/bin - Copy the wrap.exe from <tibco home>/tra/5.2/hotfix/bin to <adapter home>/5.1/bin - Rename the wrap.exe to adremedy.exe - start the adapter using new adremedy.exe
