Symptoms

All clients connection and/or routed server(s) are dropped without any network related issue.
The server is configured with

client_heartbeat = x
client_connection_timeout = y

and/or

server_heartbeat = w
server_connection_timeout = z


Impact

Workaround
==========

Remove the client_hearbeat/client_connection_timeout and server_heartbeat/server_connection_timeout parameters.


Cause
=====

This is a defect that can cause the EMS Server to believe that all connections have timed-out and therefore close the connection, causing all connected clients to disconnect.


Resolution
=========

This is fixed since TIBCO Enterprise Message Service 4.2.0.
