Description

Description:
Symptoms:
==========

When invoking a workflow process on Siebel Server as a Server Task, TIBCO Adapter for Siebel does not allow specifying the name of the Workflow Process Manager where you want to execute the Work Flow. When specifying to the Object Manager that Work flow has to be executed on the Work Flow Process Manager, the name of the Work Flow Process Manager where the Workflow has to be executed needs to be specified, but TIBCO Adapter for Siebel does not allow specifying the name of the workflow process manager and uses the default workflow process manager "WfProcMgr"

Impact:
======
None

Cause:
======
Adapter internally uses the Business Service "Workflow Process Manager (Server Request)" to invoke the workflow process manager on Siebel Server. The Business Service by default points to the workflow process manager "WfProcMgr". Adapter does not provide an option to over write this default component.

Resolution:
==========
Change the user property "Component" of the Business Service “Workflow Process Manager (Server Request)" in Siebel to point to the Workflow process manager where you want the Workflow process to be run. To Change the same-

-          Open Siebel Tools
-          Go to the definition of the Business Service "Workflow Process Manager (Server Request)".
-          Go to "Business Service User Prop".
-          Change the value of the property "Component" as appropriate.
-          Compile the server .srf and restart the Siebel Server
