SmartPGM is a protocol interface which implements the PGM standard. It is similar to TCP and is used in much the same way. A developer takes the SmartPGM product and integrates it into their application and makes PGM socket calls to transfer data using PGM reliable multicast. SmartPGM FX is a file transfer application built on top of our SmartPGM protocol. It is specifically design for getting files from one location to many other locations (Multicasted FTP).
