The Design time and Run time adapter fails to connect to Siebel 7.7 and above even when correct values have been specified to the Host, Enterprise Server, Siebel Server and Object Manager parameters while configuring the adapter using designer.

Impact:
======
Loss of Functionality. Adapter fails to connect to Siebel.

Cause:
======
The connection parameters to be specified while connecting to Siebel have changed in Siebel version 7.7.x and 7.8.2. Siebel no longer expects a value to be specified against the parameter Siebel server while connecting using Siebel Java Data bean.

Resolution:
==========
Specify the values for the Siebel connection parameters as mentioned below.
- For connection parameter "Host", provide the name/IP and port number of the computer on which the gateway server is installed. e.g.: acctibinfo20:2320
- Enter correct values for "Object Manager" and "Enterprise Server" parameters.
- Do not enter any value for parameter "Siebel Server" (Not even a space).

Workaround:
===========
Since the version of Siebel prior to version 7.7 expects a value for the field Siebel server, this field cannot be removed from the adapter palette. A document change request has been logged to address this issue.
