Description:
This release of the TIBCO iProcess BusinessWorks Connector supports the use of Java 1.5 as the JVM for the following product component/platform combinations:

- iProcess BusinessWorks Client Plug-in running on Windows.
- iProcess BusinessWorks Server Plug-in running on Windows, Solaris 8-10 or AIX.
- iProcess Java Server Plug-in running on Windows, Solaris 8-10 or AIX.

The use of Java 1.5 as the JVM is currently NOT supported for the following product component/platform combinations:

- iProcess BusinessWorks Server Plug-in running on Solaris 7 or HP-UX.
- iProcess Java Server Plug-in running on Solaris 7 or HP-UX.
- BusinessWorks iProcess Plug-in running on any platform.


Notes
=====

- Java 1.5 is not currently supported in this release on HP-UX due to an outstanding product restriction (CR 18153).
- Sun do not support the use of Java 1.5 on Solaris 7.


System Requirements
=================

If you wish to use Java 1.5 with this release of the TIBCO iProcess BusinessWorks Connector, you MUST use the versions specified in the following table. These versions are the only Java 1.5 versions supported by this release of the TIBCO iProcess BusinessWorks Connector.

               - Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.5.0.02 jinteg:10.14.05-17:07 PA2.0 (aCC_AP), mixed mode)

Note: You can still use Java 1.4 versions as described in the TIBCO iProcess BusinessWorks Connector Installation Guide. Java 1.5 is now a supported alternative to Java 1.4 - it does not supersede the use of Java 1.4.

You can, if required, use Java 1.4 and Java 1.5 for different components. For example, you may use Java 1.4 for the iProcess BusinessWorks Client Plug-in, and Java 1.5 for the iProcess BusinessWorks Server Plug-in and iProcess Java Server Plug-in.
