Resolution:
If the connection between the EMS Client and Server is via TCP then it uses a proprietary algorithm to mangle the password passed from EMS Client to EMS Server.
If the requirement is to really secure the password from thirdparty sniffers, then we recommend using SSL connection between the EMS Client and EMS Server.
