Resolution:
Yes. All SmartSockets version 6.x products are fully IPC-compatable which means that any 6.x client can connect to any 6.x RTserver and send and receive messages. This functionality is part of the SmartSockets QA suite.
Although not formally tested in QA, informal tests conducted by Support have also shown that any 5.x client can connect to any 6.x RTserver and send and receive messages.
