To configure routing daemons, which co-operate for fault tolerance, you must specify identical parameter configurations with one exception - they must use different router names. Therefore, both routing daemons must have the same "Local Network Name", "Service", "Network Specification", "Import/Export Subject", "Neighbor Name" and "Hostname or IP Address".
If multicast is used, the network specification should be the same. If you are specifying what interface to use - it is specific to the particular machine that the RVRD is running, so essentially the network specification (the first part which specify the interface name/IP address) could be different.
In addition, the redundant RVRDs would have exactly the same neighbors.
